As the Christmas Angels sing
At this happy festive time
May this hopeful New Year bring:
Blessed nights, full of sleep,
And kids who listen
When you speak!
Children who are ever smiling
Once in a while,
The odd weekend lie-in.
Drugs for that teething pain
Bringing peace
To an addled brain
An always happy, loving spouse
All the kids asleep,
In a quiet house.
